Storm Door Measure Guide

1. Measure the width of the door opening by taking three measurements—top, center, and bottom—across the inside face of the brickmould on each side. Record the shortest measurement.

2. Measure the height the top of the door sill to the underside of the brickmould at the top.

3. The box sweep at the bottom of the storm door allows for up to a ½ inch of expansion. The door will be manufactured to allow a ¼ inch adjustment, either up or down, from the measurement.

4. Choose the correct door handle to ensure it swings in the desired direction.

Once the contract was signed everything was smooth sailing. The doors were ready when promised, the installation was on time and professionally done. George and Zurav were certainly the "A" team as promised.They arrived on schedule and worked very hard all day hand-digging through unexpectedly rocky soil.As promised, they diligently dug down some six feet to the base of the foundation and ensured drainage to the weeping tile.Since they weren't able to finish the job in one day as planned, they came back the next morning and continued sawing the opening, chiselling it out, installing the window, cutting the joists, reinforcing all and caulking/levelling/sealing.And they worked until 9 at night to complete the job!George and Zurav were friendly, diligent and hard workers.They cleaned up everything very well, inside and out.We would highly recommend them.Thanks again for a job well-done.We are delighted with the new window.Cheers,Paul Muller

I had French doors installed in replacement to sliding doors. There was some mishap on Everest Windows side during booking my installation appointment and their truck breaking down. But that was the only reason for 4/5 stars. From initial meeting with sales rep and guys coming to do install, it was nothing short of professional. Also happy with the work they did with fitting the door and the quality of the door. They also cleaned up all the work they did, so I appreciated that. They followed up a few weeks after install too which was a nice touch and explained why the door latch doesn't properly close (will have to wait for the weather to get warmer). I do recommend them for the price and quality of door.
